Aliah vision and album she is currently working on: Wildflowers

She's in the studio now with
her newest CD dedicated
to the concept of Spiritual Activism.

Wildflowers was the name until
Sheryl Crow put out her CD with that name,
(someone she met and admires - so Aliah let it go honoring that Judy Collins used it first.)

The new CD is from a new song that came when she blessed Sheryl (and Judy Collins before her) and called her new CD: "In Light Of Now" as a call to peace now from the light inside out.

And will include these songs that have been written/used for various causes:

"Luna: Tree Of Life"
inspired by and written for Spiritual Earth Activist
Julia Butterfly Hill. Check out Julia's cool organization
Circle Of Life Foundation.

Aliah & Paz gave her a Creative Evolutionary Award and
a copy of the song with Dawn Eagle featured on Native American Flute.
Aliah years ago had also written an article about an inspirational meeting Julia that was published in Austin Daze Magazine.

"Bless The Water" Aliah was recently featured at the S.O.S. (Save Our Springs) Celebration honoring 10 years of continued efforts - inspired by the Tibetan Monks blessing the water. During her set she played this song that was born of this issue and continues to support it.

"The Field" a pro-peace song (inspired by a poem by William Stafford) used to promote the Camberage Earth Day on several Boston Radio Stations and more recently played on several
Austin Radio stations to promote peace
.

"Sweetwater" that's the title track on the local Austin Empower Productions film that aims to empower kid's with their intuitions and
played several times on PBS and showcased at SXSW: "Sweetwater"

Aliah traveled to Israel, France, and Amsterdam
with her first show: "A Dancer For Peace"
(on the same bill as Timothy Leary)
and only weeks after 9/11 returned to Amsterdam
to play a concert dedicated to peace.

A quote from the review of her
Amsterdam A2A Showcase:

"Aliah flowed onto the stage, creating a powerful etheric energy within a pop music framework. Having nothing more than a portable synthesizer- she sang as if she was carrying her band within herself. Her voice has a naturalness that was totally effortless. She is as genuine as they come and brings us back to a peaceful garden where we can dance among the wildflowers."

Aliah's highest goal is to make
Media Activism & Spiritual Cinema.

Her new Web/TV show (with partner Paz)
Creative Evolution
giving Creative Evolutionary Awards
& showcasing visionaries artists activists.

Aliah has been focusing on
spiritual consciousness,
civil rights issues, and
honoring our environment
her whole career.
It has been her inspiration to be creative.. and make a difference.

She continues to be dedicated
to doing all she can to help
evolve the planet through
what she now calls:
Spiritual Activism

for the "Now Generation".

Aliah first publically used the phrase
"Now Generation" on News8Austin
during the coverage of a
"Food Not Bombs" benefit
she played at & helped organize:
WE HERE NOW
Holiday Peace Bazaar
.

She wanted to do something
"pro-peace"...
not "anti-war"
in response to 9/11.

Other highlights of dedication:

· After being a "No Nukies" Protester for years in her teens as a College Student, she got sick of being “anti” so while at New College Of CA she and a fellow student put together an O.T.E.C. educational show (Songs Of Atlantis) to help promote Ocean Thermal Energy Conservation as an healthy alternative to Nuclear Energy.

· As soon as Earth Day happened she found the positive activism focus she saught and has played and helped promote Earth Day Celebrations
everywhere she's lived:
Phoenix, AZ, - Cambridge, MA, - Austin, TX
and at San Diego’s huge Earthfair in Balboa Park.

· Aliah does her best to inspire activsts to do positive activism - especially with the amazing and dedicated Earth First-ers who (after many long converstaions seeking to inspire them to do demonstrating as more of a performance art. Rallies became fun events -
(Rather than "repeating chants of anger and frustration at the opposing force because you have to -
cause no one else cares - empowering the other side.)

The idea is to make it from a place of strength 'cause we know we're speaking for higher forces than us – we're caretakers of this Earth and each other and we know it and want to inspire others
to remember that they know that too.
THAT THIS IS WHAT CONNECTS US ALL!

· Aliah covered Democracy Rising when it came through town & interviewed Ralph Nader (Finally bringing together many civil rights grassroots organizations and helping them to become a more powerful united force for humanitarian issues) for an article called "Spiritual Activism & Solutionaries for the Now Generation" in Austin Daze Magazine -
a local cool voice of the people in Austin.

Together with her partner Paz they lead bands,
produced, promoted events, and created TV shows:

· They produced a 10 minute special that aired very often on access called:
"Vitamins Out-lawed!" in the early 90's
when the laws threatened herbs,
Vitamins and alternative health supplements.

· They covered year of the S.O.S. (Save Our Spring) issues, updates, and events on all our shows – especially P.E.A.C.E. (that has evolved into a non-profit and now Peacefarm Productions with a new show: CREATIVE EVOLTION. Aliah’s song “Bless The Water” was aired to help with S.O.S. in TV spots and it was also played at events sponsoring S.O.S..
S.O.S. Celebration Poster-
(& Aliah's amazing "Bless The Water" story!)

· With her band Souler System they parked an Electric Car outside their regular Thurs. night gig at the Better World Galleria to promote alternatives to gas.

Check out Ethanol - most cars can run on it with little or no adaptation.

One of the most powerful tools we have to inspire positive change is the media.
Our visioning together is powerful:

Our evolution is being empathized!

Spiritual Activism
through the media..
.

Honoring the Second City and then SNL - political humor can really shed light without making us feel helpless. Blessings to comedians like Whoopie Goldberg, Jon Stewart& Co. ("THE DAILY SHOW" ), Bill Maher, Sandra Bernhard, and especially the fearless Michael Moore, humorist, activist, writer, TV host, & film maker who among other things- his TV show “The Awful Truth”and his best selling book "Stupid White Men" along with his films "Roger & Me" and his recent “Best Film” winner at the Cannes Film Festival "Bowling for Columbine", and through his syndicated articles, (that also appear in the blessed Austin Daze) offers his enlightened comical views of our gratefully metamorphosing country - it is brave and important work to empower people with the truth that could set them free.. check out his book: "Dude Where's My Country?" and his most awesome creation yet:
"Fahrenheit 911".

God Bless
American
Free Speech!

Breakthrough Films for humanitarian causes.. (for more go to Peacefarm Productions.)

"WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW?" that brought audiences out by the droves to discover the connection between
Quantum Physics and Metaphysics and to inspire us about how much more we are and can choose to become.

And last but not least, special thanks: to the amazing film:
"Pay It Forward" & it's message!
The IDEA: When someone helps you out of a really hard situation-
"Pay it Forward" to 3 people who then pay it forward to 3 people and so on..
