Aliah's been playing sax since she was 15.
She began playing sax with a dare from her boyfriend.
(He said "a girl" can't play sax!)
Taking his dare, she began playing his Alto sax
that was collecting dust in his closet.

After a year & 1/2, she was playing in the
Phoenix College Jazz Band.
Then, Aliah studied Blues/Jazz sax while
on scholarship at Berklee School of Music.
Aliah has played sax and sang
in many bands all over the world.

Most recently in Austin, she played Tenor Sax
in the Austinian Funk Rock band SPIRAL -
where she was lead vocalist
and one of the main songwriters.
That material is now being used in The Rockaholix
feature film now in pre-production.

Meanwhile, Paz & Aliah (the core members of SPIRAL)
are transforming SPIRAL into it's next evolution -
part of thier new journey is SPIRAL music will be used
for the upcoming Bay Area TV show
Creative Evolution.
